Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Maryland and raised in VA and MD.
How long have you worked in the industry?
I have been working in the construction and remodeling industry since 2000. Then moved into designing kitchen & bath in 2008.
How did you get started in the industry?
With Lowes
What is your favorite part about design work?
Working with people to make their dreams come true with designing the best looking and functional areas in their homes.
Which room is your favorite to design?
Kitchens
Describe a project you’ve done that you are most proud of and why?
One of the projects I’m most proud of was a kitchen remodel designed to serve both a primary residence and a mother-in-law suite. The challenge was creating two functional spaces that felt cohesive while meeting very different lifestyle needs. By carefully listening to the clients and focusing on flow, accessibility, and long-term usability, I delivered a design that improved functionality for the family while giving the mother-in-law suite a comfortable, independent space. The success of the project came from balancing aesthetics with real-life use, which is where I feel my design strengths truly shine.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Make people happy being able to solve problem they might be having
What is your personal design style?
My personal preference leans toward clean, warm, timeless design — but professionally, my role is to design what’s right for the client. My value is knowing how to get them there.
What are some design elements you love when customers add-in?
Their taste, style, and personal touches to the job.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Yes, I’m very artistic. I love to draw, paint and even ceramics.
Do you have any pets?
I have a golden retriever. Marley, he is a sweet boy.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Love to spend days with my kids going to state parks, or the beach in the summertime. Taking walks with my dog and hanging out with my friends at local pubs.
