Meet Lindsay, our newest Junior Designer, whose passion for creativity and functionality shines through in every space she helps design. Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
How long have you worked in the design industry?
I’ve been working alongside designers for the last nine years.
How did you get started in the cabinetry and design industry?
I first got started working with frameless glass and custom mirrors—an experience that sparked my love for materials and design details.
What is your favorite part about design work?
I love creating beautiful and functional spaces that enhance how people live every day.
Which room is your favorite to design?
Bathrooms! I enjoy transforming them into relaxing, spa-like retreats through thoughtful layouts and materials.
Describe a project you’re most proud of.
One of my proudest projects was finding, fabricating, and installing an antique mirror for my grandfather’s dining room. It was a meaningful project that blended craftsmanship, sentiment, and design.
What’s your favorite part of your job at McCabinet?
Collaborating with clients and other designers to create custom glass and cabinetry elements that elevate a space.
How would you describe your personal design style?
Eclectic—I enjoy mixing styles, textures, and eras to create something unique and timeless.
What design elements do you love when clients include them?
I’m always excited to see antique mirrors and decorative glass incorporated into cabinetry or accent features.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I know sign language!
Do you have any pets?
Not at the moment, but I love animals.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
You’ll most likely find me relaxing at the beach—it’s my happy place!
