Where were you born and raised?
Born – Tacoma Park Maryland
Raised – Chicago & Minneapolis
How did you get started in the industry?
I married a Carpenter.
What is your favorite part about design work?
I like tackling difficult situations that require outside the normal solutions to achieve a great design.
Which room is your favorite to design?
Kitchen
Describe a project you’ve done that you are most proud of and why?
A period correct kitchen in a St. Pete bungalow. Many challenges of the original house had to be overcome such as floor joist supporting, old electrical wiring and upside down plumbing. The end result was a brand new kitchen that fit in perfectly with the home.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Making people happy by giving them the desired space they wanted.
What is your personal design style?
Mod coastal eclectic classic
What are some design elements you love when customers add-in?
Glass doors or style features
Do you have any hidden talents?
I speak Norwegian.
Do you have any pets?
1 yr old puppy
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
With my kids at the beach.
